Tops for violin, viola, cello, double bass
"When you yet stood in the forest,
You were still.
Now that you are an instrument,
Your tones touch the hearts of all."

In our tonewood workshop in Latsch, three kilometers above Bergün we produce
from November to April high quality tops for stringed instruments only
from hand split quarters.

The site and altitude (1,600 meters) of our well-ventilated storage facility assures a very gradual and complete drying of our tonewood.
Violin and viola soundboards are delivered as one piece or at customer’s request
with middle cut.
Cello and bass soundboards are sawn as two pieces.
