Terms of business


Prices
Prices are given in Swiss Franks ex works, CH 7482 Bergün. They do not include the value added tax and shipping. Handling is free of charge. Special wishes will be charged at the published prices plus time and labour.

Shipping
Shipping costs depend on the size, weight and final destination of parcels or pallets.
Abroad deliveries with Swiss Post International are charged DDU. That means that the beneficiary has to pay VAT and customs duty directly in the country of destination.

Minimum order
For orders outside Switzerland our minimum quantities are two soundboards or two kilograms of bracewood.

Payment
For Switzerland: deposit slip 30 days net
Outside Switzerland: prepayment by bank transfer, VISA or MasterCard

Delivery and Dispatch
Dispatch abroad takes place immediately after payment of goods. All goods remain the sole property of Tonewood until delivery terms and payments have been fulfilled. Dispatch abroad for smaller parcels takes place immediately after receipt of payment by means of international parcel post. We send larger orders with DHL or other shipping companies.
Dispatch within Switzerland takes place by priority or economy post with bill of sale.

  Return of goods
We grade our tonewood according to the criteria outlined on our website. Customers wishing to return items, unaltered, for a refund or exchange may do so within 60 days of delivery. Shipping charges are not refundable and shipping will be charged for the new items sent.
