Soundboards for Guitar, Mandolin, Bouzouki and Lute

"Only after a few years, moon wood soundboards from Bergün feel like they’ve been stored and dried for 20 years. "
(Testimony of a guitar maker)
In our workshop in Latsch soundboards for guitars, mandolins, bouzoukis and
lutes are processed from hand-split quartered logs. This assures that the orientation of the wood fiber runs parallel to the face of the board.

Explanation of availability of Master and AAA guitar tops
We are a small family-run company. During the winter we produce about 9000
guitar tops for the coming year,
only 250 - 300 of which are of Master grade quality. Because there
is such a great demand for these "perfect" tops, we try to share
them fairly among our customers. That's why we set a limit per person per year. For guitar tops of Master
and AAA grade quality we have a waiting list,
which is unfortunately already full for 2012. It would be a pleasure
for us to answer your enquiries concerning Master and AAA tops beginning
in August 2012.
It would, of course, be best if you could come to visit us personally. Then you can choose directly
from our stock according your own personal criteria.
